People always ask me how I get around with three little kids and no car.

And well… meet my car 🚗
The Citi Mini Baby Jogger GT2.

I can fit everything in this thing — three kids, bags, bottles, snacks. Grocery shopping.

And honestly? In a lot of ways, it’s easier than driving.
No car seats.
No parking.
No sitting in traffic.

We walk. We roll. We bus. We train.
The kids are calmer. I’m calmer.
And no one’s screaming from the backseat — because there is no backseat.

It’s slower, sure. But it’s simpler.
And right now, I’ll take simple over fast any day. 🙌

Feeding three toddlers takes strategy. 👩‍🍳

Lately my four-year-old’s been coming to me after dinner with, “I’m hungry… but I don’t know what I want.” Which... 😅

I used to offer him a couple of options to choose from, but that somehow made things more complicated. So now, when he says that, I just hand him a plate with a few different things on it. 🍽️

Usually he starts with, “I don’t want this,” but by the end he’s eaten about 90% of it. 🙃 So now I’m trying that with all three — a muffin tin with a variety of options and some cheesy pita pockets, and we’ll see how it goes. 🧀✨

Will they like it? 🤔 They've never actually tried this.

He broke the mold, challenges every plan, is fiercely independent,and fills our home with wild, joyful chaos.

I heard a mom tell her daughter to physically remove my 4-year-old from a toy today. 😳
I suggested they play together and talk nicely — she said, “my daughter knows how to talk nicely.”
Evidently… not. 😬

Moments like that make me realize how differently people see the world — and how important it is to raise kids who are kind 💛, inclusive 🤝, and good 🌿 even when it’s inconvenient.

It’s the last day I have a baby.
Tomorrow, Maya turns one — and just like that, I’ll have three toddlers. For a little while, a one-, two-, and four-year-old.

When we first talked about the idea of Maya, I wanted a pregnancy filled with calm and joy — after one marked by corona and another by cancer. And then the world exploded. 🌍

We were scared to bring another child into it. But she came with light. Maya. 🌼

Now we’re here — trying to raise happy, healthy kids in a world that doesn’t always make sense. A life I never imagined I’d get to have, especially as an older mom.

One more bedtime with my baby. 💛

Got myself the little gadget on Prime Day and gave it a go today. The kids have already eaten two each, so I’m calling this a win. 🙌

When you move, things get lost. For me as a T1D, that meant losing parts of my Guardian 4 sensor setup—things I rely on to live. Medtronic had replacements in my hands within 2 days, and I’m so grateful. 💛 💙

At our local indoor playground, my almost-3-year-old was happily bulldozing away 🚜 when another little one wanted his toy.

He said no. The other kid tried to take it. He said no again. Then they ended up sticking their tongues out at each other (peak toddler conflict resolution 😂).

I stepped in gently: “It’s his turn right now. He doesn’t want to share. Maybe you can have the next one.”

The other mom gave me a look 👀 … but here’s what I believe:

✨ Sharing is wonderful.

✨ Boundaries are, too.

We need to normalize kids being able to say NO:

❌ No, I don’t want to share right now.

❌ No, I’m not ready to give this up yet.

Kids shouldn’t have to hand over what they’re playing with just because someone else wants it.

Taking turns works, too. 💛

✨ Traveling internationally with three kids, four and under, isn’t about picture-perfect — it’s about survival. Here are the top five tips that helped us this time:

1️⃣ Kids are allowed to take up space. They’re little humans, not mini-adults. They may be loud, messy, tired, joyful — but they still belong, just like us. 👶✈️

2️⃣ Nothing goes as planned. Delays, meltdowns, lost bottles… expect failure. The secret? Staying flexible and trying to be calm enough to pivot. 🔄🍼

3️⃣ Ziploc bags = sanity. I filled up quart-sized bags with a change of clothes, a diaper, and a changing pad. Whenever we needed them, I just grabbed a bag. Dirty clothes went straight back in, zipped it up, and done — no mess, no stress. 🧳🧼

4️⃣ Backpacks = independence. My big kids each had their own backpacks filled with snacks, cheap little activities, and a tablet and headphones. Anytime they needed something, I could say “check your bag.” Cleanup was simple, and I kept my sanity. 🎒🍿

5️⃣ Lower the bar. Forget the picture-perfect trip. If everyone arrives mostly clean, fed, and in one piece, that’s a win. ✅💛

And remember: your kids won’t remember the delays, meltdowns, or blowouts. They’ll remember the vacation, and how much fun they had. 🌍✨

So I pulled out the toothbrush + toothpaste from our last airline amenity kit and went to work. Honestly, I think they look pretty good. 😂

I’m sure somebody’s going to tell me I’m doing it wrong. But my daughter is 10 months old, she eats all the solid foods, and she tries to lick the stroller wheels on the regular—so I’m calling this safe enough. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did you know that I've got my very own meet-cute story? 💕 Without Jason here, I probably wouldn’t be Liz Lemon today. He’s the one who introduced me to Adam—not once, but twice. The third time I reached out and it was finally the right time.

The first was dinner in 2006. I don’t remember it, but Adam does—right down to what I was wearing 👗. He also swears I flirted with him (probably true 😉).

So I’m at the doctor’s office with Maya, and she’s crawling on the floor—because she’s a baby, almost a toddler, and that’s what they do.
I’m literally watching her. I stop her when she tries to lick the floor—don’t worry. But yeah, she’s exploring.

Then this random office worker I’ve never seen before says:
“She shouldn’t do that. The floor’s not very clean.”

And I go,
“Kids aren’t very clean.”
Mic. Drop.

Why do people think it’s okay to make parenting comments when literally no one asked? She’s not eating garbage. She’s crawling. She also tries to eat shoes at home, what do you want from me?

Also? My older two kids are her immune system training camp.
